Work Placement

Accademia Leonardo, in collaboration with Essenia, offers it’s students the opportunity to complete internships with selected companies in the area of Salerno. The internship is a valuable opportunity to improve your knowledge of the Italian language and gain professional experience that you can include in your CV.

Those interested in internships, should send their Curriculum Vitae in Italian and submit the internship application form at least two months before their arrival in Italy. Internships will be attainable after checking the availability of the host companies in the following areas:

Agriculture and Environment, Marketing and Advertising, Education and Training, Law, Cultural Heritage, Trade and Tourism, Finance and Banking, Technology and Consulting services, Engineering and Telecommunications, Architecture, Publishing, Transportation and Logistics, Import and Export, European community programmes, Interpreting, Social services etc.

The internship will be conducted for a period of 8 – 16 – 20 – 24 weeks. During the internship, the intern will be covered by accident insurance and civil liability.

To participate in our internships, interested participants should follow the Italian Standard Course at our school for a minimum period of 4 weeks.

Requirements:

-          Minimum age of 18 years

-          Maximum age of 35 years

-          Knowledge of Italian: B1 level

 Essenia UETP – University Training and Enterprise Partnership is an association between the University and European companies created in 1991 under the support of the European Union COMETT.

Essenia works in the field of guidance and training, in the organisation and management of placements in national and foreign companies and in the economic and social development of the region.

The body is entrusted by the Campania region under the management of the LEONARDO DA VINCI PROGRAMME – Displacement and is recognised by the Ministry of Education as a Special Scientific Institute for the importance of training.
