Drawing and Ceramics Decoration Course
The ceramic decorating course is hosted by Marco Vechio in collaboration with the Città Creativa Museum of Ogliara.
The course offers lessons on the theory of contemporary visual arts, in relation to painting and ceramics and on the contamination of artistic language.
The students will examine examples of ceramic decorating techniques and practise the decorating and painting onto ceramic material using cold colours that dry quickly.
The Ogliara Museum will provide its students with the ceramic pieces to be decorated, sketch paper, photocopied images, drawing pencils and pens, ink, access to books, and some video screenings pertenant to the lesson.
A certificate of participation will be issued to the students on the last day of the course; the ceramic pieces created during the course will be displayed.
The course will be held close to Accademia Leonardo or near the Città Creativa Museum.
The course is held twice a week.
Each class is approximately two hours in length.
